Four Points by Sheraton Pendik - Sculptures

Four Points by Sheraton Pendik - Sculptures
For the Four Points by Sheraton Pendik project, ALAN Project developed a series of independent sculptures, each conceived as a unique spatial gesture rather than part of a uniform series. These sculptural works were designed to integrate naturally within the hotel’s interiors, contributing not only to the visual identity of each space but also to the overall spatial experience. Rather than merely occupying the environment, each piece was envisioned as a focal point—quiet yet expressive forms that offer a moment of reflection or surprise within the everyday flow of the hotel.
The sculptures, placed in selected communal and transitional areas, were shaped around concepts such as balance, tension, and rhythm. Material choices and surface treatments played a key role in this process, offering a tactile richness that complements the interior finishes. With organic or geometric abstractions, the works subtly echoed architectural lines or introduced gentle contrasts—always maintaining a sense of harmony with the surroundings.

Each sculpture was developed as an autonomous expression, allowing the space to reveal multiple narratives depending on the viewer’s perspective. ALAN Project’s sculptural approach emphasizes the value of presence over spectacle—inviting viewers not to consume the work in passing, but to encounter it. In this way, the sculptures became silent participants in the life of the hotel, grounding its contemporary design language with a layer of artistic sensibility.
