Four Points by Sheraton Pendik - Paintings
The painting series developed for the interiors of Four Points by Sheraton Pendik consists of abstract works that not only accompany the hotel’s overall atmosphere but also offer a site-specific interpretation of each space’s character. At ALAN Project, we approached this commission with the belief that each painting should serve not merely as a decorative surface, but as a narrative element engaging in dialogue with its environment. The resulting artworks established a refined harmony with the hotel’s understated yet elegant architecture, while also offering visual accents that leave a lasting impression.
Each composition was tailored to different spatial typologies throughout the hotel. Working with a layered, expressive painting language, the pieces were created in response to the light, material palette, and chromatic atmosphere of the interiors. Soothing tones dominate the color spectrum, while texture, rhythm, and gesture invite viewers to pause and observe—establishing moments of quiet engagement within the flow of daily activity.

These abstract visual narratives were conceived not only in alignment with the architectural framework but also in relation to the user’s experience of the space. Enriching moments of transition and supporting extended stays with visual depth, the paintings became integral to the identity and atmosphere of the hotel. ALAN Project’s approach here emphasizes art as a lived and relational presence—one that invites active perception and interaction. In this way, each painting became a vibrant, meaning-bearing presence within a functional interior.
