Rixos Thermal Hotel
The paintings designed for the interior spaces of Rixos Thermal Hotel were created with a deep consideration of the hotel’s serene atmosphere and its strong connection to nature. At ALAN Project, our goal for this project was not only to produce visually compelling surfaces, but also to create visual spaces that allow guests to connect—however briefly—with their environment. Drawing on the calming and slowing qualities of art, we developed a series of abstract works to accompany the unique hotel experience.
Throughout the creative process, the visual language was shaped by a desire to enhance the peaceful ambiance of the thermal hotel. Soft color transitions inspired by nature, layered surfaces, and fluid forms added visual depth to the quiet of the space. Concepts such as stillness, rhythm, and lightness became the foundation of each composition. These paintings offer a thoughtful pause for the viewer—presenting a visual layer that is both striking and in harmony with the function of the space.
Each work was placed with intention in different areas of the hotel, taking into account architectural context, light exposure, and the flow of movement within the space. In doing so, art was not simply displayed—it became an integral part of the environment, carrying functional and emotional resonance. With this project, ALAN Project continued to uphold its belief that art should not only be observed, but felt and experienced. These paintings found a meaningful and powerful place within the hotel’s nature-focused and restorative setting.
